Job OverviewUC Clermont invites applications for the following faculty positions beginning August 15, 2026. UC Clermont is an open admissions branch campus of the University of Cincinnati located in the Cincinnati metropolitan area, with an enrollment of approximately 3,400 students. The College offers a variety of certificates, two-year technical degrees and transfer programs.
Essential FunctionsFaculty responsibilities include teaching 12-credit hours per semester (autumn/spring) unless otherwise indicated, ongoing scholarship/research, service to the Department, College, University, and Community, and willingness to participate in all normal departmental duties.
All candidates must demonstrate/provide evidence of effective teaching and professional development.
- Terminal degree (MFA or Ph.D.) and at least one (1) year (or equivalent to 36 quarter hours) college-level teaching experience.
- In addition, successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in teaching composition, as well as introductory levels of fiction writing.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching at an open-access/admissions institution and teaching fiction writing at the intermediate level.
