Adjunct Instructor, Microbiology, UC Blue Ash College

This position is part‑time faculty in the Biology Department at UC Blue Ash College. The college offers associate degrees and technical baccalaureate programs. The role focuses on teaching Microbiology lectures and labs for undergraduate nursing, dental hygiene, allied health, and veterinary technology students.

Part‑time faculty must be able to teach Microbiology lecture and lab aimed at undergraduate nursing, dental hygiene, allied health, and vet tech students.

Adjunct faculty members will be expected to:

• Use the course management system (Canvas) and any required textbook systems.
• Hold regular office hours to meet with students and reply to student communications in a timely manner.
• Participate in at least one professional development workshop per year.

All classes may be offered day or evening. This position is not eligible for visa or green card sponsorship.

• On a part‑time basis, teach assigned undergraduate courses.
• Using best practices, continually evaluate student coursework.
• Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of their responsibilities.
• Review and respond in a timely manner to all University‑related and student communications.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum of a Master's degree in a biological science field (General Biology, Physiology, Microbiology, or related field).

At least one (1) year of teaching experience in a college setting.
