Job Overview

The Ullman School of Design (SOD) prepares students to be skilled professionals for local and global markets. The Industrial Design undergraduate program offers students an interdisciplinary experience focused on fashion, communication design, and industrial design, supported by a robust co‑op program.

The Adjunct Instructor supports the program by teaching core curriculum courses and contributing to an excellent academic experience.

Essential Functions
  • Administer existing core curriculum syllabi, with potential minor modifications.
  • Submit grades for all students enrolled in the course.
  • Refer students with special needs or circumstances to DAAP advisers when necessary.
  • Coordinate with other faculty members for multi‑section course alignment.
  • May serve as an academic adviser and evaluate student coursework.
  • Engage in ancillary activities that support the program’s responsibilities.
  • Respond in a timely manner to all university‑related communications.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or a related field with 6 years of industry experience.
