Overview

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College invites candidates committed to the mission and values to apply for a Leadership Adjunct. Qualified candidates will be responsible for classroom and/or online instruction in Leadership courses.

Essential Duties
  • Instruct students in Leadership courses; create or adopt current syllabi, course materials, and assignments to support course learning outcomes as defined by the Leadership Department and the State of Ohio.
  • Ensure students achieve course learning outcomes as defined in the syllabus.
  • Maintain electronic records (using Blackboard) of student performance, progress, and attendance.
  • Complete start- and end-of-semester responsibilities, including submission of no-show rosters and final grades.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in leadership or a related field with 18 graduate credit hours in Leadership or related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to teach both online and face-to-face courses.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Three years of teaching or industry experience.
  • Proficient experience using online learning management systems (Blackboard).
  • Experience teaching online courses.
  • Experience working with students from diverse academic backgrounds and life experiences.
  • Ability to employ a range of classroom/instructional technologies.
  • Flexible availability.

  • Ability to create an engaging learning environment that respects a wide variety of viewpoints.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Proficiency with online communication and record-keeping.
