Adjunct Instructor - General Education - CON Instruction - PRN

Overview

Part-time temporary position, teach or assist in teaching one or more courses per academic term or assist in creation and development of courses as assigned by the Dean, Health Sciences. Ensure learning assessment goals and outcomes are met. Work in collaboration with associated course faculty when appropriate/directed.

• EDUCATION:
  
  • Master s degree in appropriate discipline for which person will be teaching;
  
  • Doctorate preferred.
  
  • Candidates must demonstrate that related coursework and/or teaching experience is relevant to the work they will be conducting at the college.

  EXPERIENCE:
  
  
  
  • Candidates will also possess relevant teaching experience, with a minimum of two or more years of teaching experience at the college level at an accredited institution of higher learning preferred.
• REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  
  • Ability to demonstrate capability to collaborate with other faculty from across divisions is critical;
  
  • The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate either a familiarity with, or willingness to learn about and implement, online learning environments/courses.
