Reports to: Harrison Elementary Building Principal
Southwest Local School District is searching for a Building Substitute for Harrison Elementary for the 2025/2026 school year.
Salary
Schedule:
$125 per day
Teacher hired will be paid through HCESC's Aesop Substitute Teaching System. Candidate must also apply through www.
Subsolutions.org.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize and implement developed teaching plans in the absence of a Teacher.
- In the event a substitute position is not needed, an alternate schedule will be followed.
- Adhere to and be knowledgeable of all provisions outlined in federal, state, and local guidelines for evaluation, identification, placement, and educational programming for special education students.
- Work as an integral team member with related services specialists, professionals from outside agencies and parents in implementing a student's IEP.
- Provide a safe learning environment in the classroom.
- Working knowledge of Ohio Extended Standards is a plus.
- Passing Background and Fingerprint examination
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.
