About the Role:
Corryville Catholic School is seeking a dynamic and engaging Junior High Science & Social Studies Teacher to inspire students in grades 6–8. This teacher will foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of the world through rigorous, student-centered instruction.
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned to Science and Social Studies standards
- Build strong classroom culture rooted in respect, structure, and high expectations
- Use data to drive instruction and support student growth
- Incorporate hands-on learning, discussion, and inquiry-based strategies
- Establish and maintain a safe, structured, respectful, and academically focused learning environment
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Valid teaching license (or ability to obtain)
- Experience teaching middle school preferred
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Passion for working in a mission-driven school community Ideal Candidate
