As part of our team you will have the opportunity to be part of several marquee project currently changes the landscape of southwest Ohio.
- Perform engineering calculations and plan preparation for bridge design and rehabilitation projects including analysis and design of complex structures
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior engineering staff
- Developing unique and complex solutions to bridge problems for projects and pursuits
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited program in civil engineering or equal. Graduate degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural engineering is preferred, but not required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required.
- 5-15 years of bridge design experience and thorough understanding of engineering principles is required.
- Experience with ODOT bridge design and rehabilitation projects is required.
- Steel, concrete, prestressed concrete design and load ratings experience required; finite element analysis experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Micro Station/Open Roads. Experience with Open Bridge Modeler is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal & written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, strong interpersonal and written communication skills with a focus on company culture.
