Senior Electrical Engineer

Our Architectural client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer. This role will focus on the design of mechanical systems for buildings, with an emphasis on electrical design and construction throughout all project phases—including design, bidding, permitting, and construction.

• Prepare Electrical design and construction documents in REVIT
• Research building materials and systems and select appropriate items for incorporation into the building design
• Maintain a working knowledge of architectural, mechanical, structural, civil, fire protection and telecom building systems; coordinate these systems with the electrical design
• Research and prepare building code analysis for Electrical Engineering work
• Assist in the development and maintenance of electrical design standards including master specifications, Electrical standards, drawing standard procedures, CADD and project documentation standards
• Provide REVIT support to other team members and departments on projects

• Experienced in all areas of Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on buildings design, and building site electrical systems
• Experience producing Electrical design and construction documents in an A/E consulting firm
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Broad knowledge of building electrical engineering, concept development, and final design including various power, voltage, control and protection systems
• Experience designing building Electrical systems to meet LEED criteria
• Proficiency in REVIT MEP
• Familiarity with A/E industry BIM standards
• Ability to be registered in every state – (NCEES preferred)

• LEED certification and proficiency in AutoCAD or Micro Station.
• Experience using ELUM Tools, Visual Lighting, and Navisworks
• Experience working with Federal Government Agencies a plus
