POSITION SUMMARY
Washing Systems, LLC (WSI), now part of the Kao family of companies, is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our thriving team. The Regulatory Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the company's chemical products, operations, and processes comply with all applicable federal, state, local, and international regulations. Reporting to the Director of Technical Services, this role supports product stewardship, regulatory submissions, compliance monitoring, and internal guidance related to chemical regulations, environmental health and safety (EHS), and customer requirements.
The position will work cross‑functionally with R&D, Supply Chain, and Sales to maintain compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related scientific discipline required.
- 3‑5 years of regulatory compliance or regulatory affairs experience within the chemical, specialty chemical, or related manufacturing industry.
- Hands‑on experience with chemical regulations such as TSCA, OSHA Hazard Communication, GHS, EPA, and international frameworks (e.g., REACH).
- Strong understanding of chemical regulatory frameworks and compliance principles.
- Experience authoring or managing SDS and chemical labeling.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
