Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer role in Cincinnati, OH. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality, efficiency, and throughput.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other process‑improvement methodologies.
  • Provide day‑to‑day technical support to production teams, troubleshooting issues and eliminating root causes.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations—to support new product introductions and implement engineering changes.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee equipment performance, support capital improvement projects, and recommend upgrades or new technologies.
  • Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity evaluations to support strategic planning.
  • Serve as a mentor to junior engineers and technicians; leadership experience is preferred.
  • Ensure all processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality systems.
Qualifications:
  • 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering within an industrial or high‑volume environment.
  • Leadership or team‑lead experience preferred
    ; strong desire to move into a leadership role required.
  • Proven success in process improvement, equipment troubleshooting, and manufacturing optimization.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project‑management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).
