Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialty alumina products across the country and has become a major supplier for the ceramic, refractory and glass industry. This team produces a broad range of high quality aluminas as well as other refined mineral products on a daily basis. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team!

Base Pay Range

$95,000.00/yr - $/yr

Responsibilities
  • Design mechanical components and systems using 2D/3D CAD software (Solid Works, AutoCAD, or similar).
  • Develop, apply, and maintain engineering calculations and accurate bills of materials to support mechanical design and production.
  • Independently lead large capital projects ($1M+) from concept through implementation.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams to improve performance, cost efficiency, and reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within mechanical systems and processes.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize existing plant equipment and systems.
  • Evaluate, select, and coordinate the purchase and installation of new mechanical systems.
  • Create and update CAD designs for mechanical components and systems (Solid Works, AutoCAD, or similar).
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with CAD software (Solid Works, AutoCAD, or equivalent) required.
  • Experience leading large scale projects is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, engineering calculations, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
