. We are currently seeking a Factory Senior Leader for our new manufacturing plant in South Boston, Virginia. The role will be located in South Boston, Virginia and full relocation is offered. The role manages all aspects of operations for a local manufacturing unit, including Health, Safety & Environment, Production, Engineering, Project Management, and Production Scheduling. Accountable for safety, quality, on‑time delivery, inventory, and cost.
- Manage overall manufacturing operations and staff involved in the factory, including SEOP process.
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies to increase productivity and reduce costs following the Integrated Transformer Management (ITM) System.
- Provide a safe and healthy environment for employees, ensuring compliance with Group health, safety and environmental directives and relevant regulations. Monitor and report progress and results, assess risks and hazards, and implement safety plans.
- Develop and execute plans to reduce non‑value‑added costs, increase revenue, and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates.
- Demonstrate unquestionable business ethics and conduct.
- Engineering or technical undergraduate degree; MBA preferred.
- Overall 16 years of experience with a minimum of 7 years in leadership; transformer experience preferred.
- Strategic development experience.
- Operations experience in a multi‑focused factory structure.
- Experience leading in a lean management system (or lean operating system or similar).
- Must have U.S. work authorization; no sponsorship provided.
