Controls Engineer

Description

The Controls Engineer will focus on supporting a Transmission Gear Program.

Key responsibilities include:

• Validate program capabilities using Siemens PLCs and CNC motion control systems
• Commission new equipment and ensure proper functionality
• Program and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Actively participate in safety sign-offs and compliance checks
• Verify equipment capabilities and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and coordinate meetings with Tier I suppliers

• PLC Programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
• HMI Development
• Controls Engineering
• Robotics Integration
• Electrical Troubleshooting
• Automation Systems

• 10+ years of experience in Controls Engineering
• Extensive software programming experience (Siemens preferred)
• Knowledge of international electrical and safety standards (UL, ISO, IEC)
• Familiarity with internal/external safety processes (risk assessments, PSS, coordinated safety)
• Experience with program delivery from cost study phase through launch

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cincinnati,OH.
