Job Description

We are seeking talented professionals to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment as an Aviation Repair QC Inspector at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).

Qualifications
  • Experience in aircraft turbine engine component repair.
  • Experience in composite component manufacture or repair.
  • Experience with in aerospace or aviation repair or manufacture field.
  • Proficient in the use of precision measuring hand tools to measure component defects.
  • Flexible to perform visual inspections as needed, including preliminary, hidden damage, in‑process, and final inspections on metal/composite civil aviation articles using current technical data provided in the manufacture’s instructions for continued airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other FAA‑approved data.
  • Evaluation of hardware at designated steps throughout the repair process.
  • Inspection of hardware from outside processes.
Job Requirements
  • Thorough familiarity with the scope and limitations of the method employed.
  • Ability to organize inspection findings and be familiar with the codes, standards and contractual documents that control the method.
  • Experience with Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM).
  • Drug‑free workplace compliance.
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations.
  • Proficiency with measurement tools and visual inspection.
  • Experience with composite/honeycomb materials.
  • Airframe and Powerplant license preferred (but not required).
  • Aviation, aerospace, or industrial turbine engine manufacture/repair/inspection experience preferred.
Drug Test Requirements

This position requires a DOT/FAA pre‑employment drug test for the following prohibited drugs (as defined in 49 CFR 40.3):

  • Marijuana
  • Cocaine
  • Opioids
  • Phencyclidine (PCP)
  • Amphetamines
Safety‑Sensitive Functions

Drug‑testing applies to safety‑sensitive positions such as those described in 14 CFR part 120, including (but not limited to) flight crew members, flight attendants, flight instructors, aircraft dispatchers, aircraft maintenance and preventive maintenance personnel, ground security coordinators, aviation screener, air traffic controllers, and operations control specialists.
