Overview

Electrical Engineer - CMTA role at CMTA, Inc. located in Cincinnati. The position involves designing electrical systems for energy efficient buildings and complex infrastructure projects, working with a team of engineers and consultants to support bid, design, and construction efforts.

• Prepare, read, and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Interact with owners, clients, architects, and contractors through verbal and written communication.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks.
• Collaborate with other engineers and personnel to meet project deadlines.
• Apply engineering principles to design and evaluate products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet project requirements.
• Design and specify system components to ensure conformance with project goals and requirements.
• Research and analyze client design requirements, manuals, and other data to evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance of designs or applications.
• Review contractor submittals to determine conformance with contract documents.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• 1+ year of experience with MEP design
• FE registration preferred with potential for PE
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD
