Hybrid / 4 days a week in office Electrical Department Manager – Industrial EPC Overview: A national engineering consultancy is seeking an Electrical Department Manager to lead its electrical engineering team. This role combines technical leadership, project oversight, and people management for complex industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the electrical engineering group, including engineers and designers. Provide technical guidance and quality oversight for electrical deliverables. Collaborate with project managers and other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. Mentor and develop staff, supporting technical and professional growth. Maintain department standards, tools, and best practices. Support client relationships, proposals, and estimating activities. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. MUST have EPC industrial experience. 15+ years of experience including leadership or department management. Strong understanding of AutoCAD and Revit. Industrial project experience (manufacturing, chemical, pulp & paper, etc.). Proficiency with electrical design and simulation software.

Experience with PDS EE Raceway, Smart Plant Electrical, or SKM is a plus. PE and PMP certifications are a plus. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Why This Role:
