This position supports the transformation and maintenance of financial systems and processes within the Finance Department, focusing on effective system usage, streamlined closing processes, and robust financial reporting and cash‑management solutions.
Responsibilities- Support and maintain financial systems processes during closing activities and help improve the closing activities.
- Develop and maintain financial systems for Accounting, write change requests, and serve as the contact person for IT when necessary.
- Guide accountants on best‑practice execution of Accounting processes, conduct user training for current or new systems, and develop user guides when appropriate.
- Participate in project activities related to key Accounting projects.
- Organize workshops to gather business requirements or design future solutions.
- Support the Accounting Department on key corporate projects and promote data governance principles.
- Develop efficient reporting solutions to support analytical work in Accounting and establish reporting standards for the department.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- At least one year of financial systems and technical process experience.
- Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with Microsoft products and data‑analytical tools such as Alteryx, Oracle, SQL, Power BI, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Strong Accounting knowledge, ideally combined with insurance experience.
