Billing Specialist

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoicing of subscription contracts, managing deposits and collections, and posting revenue in accordance with company policies. You will collaborate across Accounting, Finance, and Business teams while serving as a system expert in Dynamics 365, Salesforce, and High Radius.

Compensation: $30/hour (W2)

• Accurately process and issue invoices in line with contract terms.
• Post revenue and reconcile accounts in accordance with revenue recognition policies.
• Support deposits, collections, and general receivables processes.
• Partner with Accounting, Finance, Business Leadership, and Credit & Collections to resolve issues.
• Provide customer service to internal associates and external clients regarding billing matters.
• Participate in small projects with guidance, offering solutions to process challenges.
• Maintain a working knowledge of client systems, tools, and financial processes.

• Top 3 Systems: Dynamics 365, Salesforce, High Radius
• Strong customer service and communication skills (phone, email, meetings)
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and problem-solve independently

• Experience with accounts receivable systems and processes
• Knowledge of revenue recognition policies and procedures
• Background in corporate accounting or finance environments

• Minimum of 3 years of corporate accounting or billing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
