We seek an experienced, hands-on Controller to oversee and spearhead their financial operations. The ideal candidate will manage an experienced team and lead the finance and accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. As a key member of the executive team, you will play a crucial role in financial decision-making, providing strategic insights to support the company s growth and financial health.

• Provide leadership and direction to the accounting team, fostering professional growth and development
• Oversee all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Implement and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions and reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Forecasting and management of cash flow and financing

• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within the finance department
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
• Strong leadership abilities with a commitment to developing team members
• Strong work ethic - "whatever it takes" commitment
• Construction or related industry experience preferred

• Competitive salary starting at $112,000 to $137,000, experience-dependent
