Position Summary
Necco has an opportunity for a career as Staff Accountant

Principal Duties And Responsibilities- Preparation of supporting calculations, bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and journal entry templates to ensure accuracy at month-end close.
- Daily treasury cash management including deposits, journal entries and wire transfers.
- Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts.
- Maintain the company’s Fixed Assets and associated depreciation schedule while working with key stakeholders to ensure proper recording of new purchases and dispositions.
- Assist with financial audit, annual Cost Reports, and other annual reporting processes.
- Other accounting duties as assigned.
- Build and maintain relationships with Program and State Directors while providing training to administrative team on key business processes.
- Convey financial concepts to nonfinancial persons.
- Distill information obtained through interactions with operations into actionable items for finance.
- Practice ruthless pragmatism.

- 2‑4 years relevant accounting experience.
- Moderate to advanced MS Excel skills.
- A coachable attitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in a data‑driven environment, ideally healthcare.
- Experience with Intacct accounting platform preferred.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP.
- Successful completion of all required criminal background checks.
- Valid driver’s license and state minimum required auto insurance coverage.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field (required).
- Background checks by St (required).
- Drivers license (required).
- Auto insurance (preferred).
