Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) s role is focused on driving the financial planning and analysis function, providing insights to CFO and senior management, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning in a manufacturing and SaaS context.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a crucial advisor to the CFO and senior management team, driving the financial planning and analysis function of the company
  • Lead the development of short and long-term financial plans, aligning them with the company's strategic objectives
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities; provide actionable insights to guide decision-making
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all departments
  • Develop and monitor key financial performance indicators, comparing actual results with forecasts, and investigating variances to understand underlying business drivers
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks while capitalizing on opportunities
  • Communicate financial insights and recommendations effectively to the CFO, senior management, and non-finance stakeholders
  • Collaborate with and help mentor the Accounting team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and professional growth
  • Work closely with the Accounting team to accomplish shared goals
  • Translate complex questions into data-driven analyses to allow leaders to make informed decisions
  • Conduct analysis around product profitability, pricing, ROI of investments
  • Maintain per subscriber and unit economics of company revenue streams
  • Conduct internal and external benchmarking to identify best practices and metrics
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as needed to support business objectives
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 3-5+ years’ experience with financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning
  • Experience in a manufacturing/SaaS industries highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Senior level proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools
  • Proficiency in Net Suite or related ERP systems
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
  • Excellent leadership and team development skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
