Job Overview

Mortgage Specialist – responsible for reviewing loan documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing assistance options to aid in loss mitigation.

Location: 4270 Ivy Pointe Blvd Cincinnati, Ohio 45245

• Understand job requirements and deliver consistently to set targets.
• Review 1098/1099 documents and ensure rate adjustments are calculated correctly and required notices are sent within regulatory timelines.
• Audit bankruptcy documentation to confirm loans in bankruptcy stage are properly handled.
• Review loans for both monitored and unmonitored hazard claims, ensuring proper servicing.
• Verify Lender Placed Insurance (LPI) status, send notices before LPI is applied, and remove LPI when required.
• Audit documentation to confirm all eligible assistance programs have been offered, finalize permanent assistance options, and remove loans from the Loss Mitigation Workstation timely.
• Confirm payoff accuracy and complete lien release processes properly.
• Audit loan-servicing records to ensure proper transfer of loan data, amounts, documents, and established policies.

• Minimum 24–36 months of U.S. mortgage servicing experience.
• Knowledge of the mortgage servicing process, documentation, and loan terminology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve complicated issues as they arise.
• Flexible (willingness to work night shift).
• Proficiency in MS Office.
