The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Assistant Director to support the leadership and daily operations of the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. This role oversees key functions including waitlist management, applicant eligibility, certifications, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance, ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality service delivery.
The Assistant Director works closely with the HCV Director and management team to improve processes, enhance performance measures, strengthen community partnerships, and maintain compliance with HUD regulations. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, integrity, accountability, initiative, and a commitment to exceptional customer service while leading staff in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
Qualifications- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive experience in assisted housing or the HCV program.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- The ability to balance competing priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
