Scarlet Oaks Retirement and Rehabilitation Center in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking reliable full‑time and part‑time Dietary Aides for our 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. day shift. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a healthcare and senior living environment, supporting residents with their daily nutrition and dining experience.
Responsibilities of the Dietary AideAssist with preparation and plating of meals and snacks for residents.
Serve food and beverages and/or assist residents during mealtimes in the dining room.
Work in the dish room as requested, including washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes and utensils.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and dining areas in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
Assist Cooks with basic food preparation and portioning as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in quantity food preparation or food service preferred (healthcare or senior living experience is a plus).
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team.
Solid work history with reliable attendance and punctuality.
Patience, understanding, and compassion for residents and their families.
Ability to follow instructions, maintain sanitation standards, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. day shift.
Full-time and part-time positions available.
Weekend and holiday rotations as required by the facility schedule.
