What you will be doing as the ENT Surgery Scheduler:- Assist provider with all scheduling needs, mainly outpatient surgery appointments
- Answer and respond to referrals
- Answer the patient triage line and assist with all questions regarding scheduling
- Reschedule canceled appointments
- Upload orders and schedules to providers Outlook calendar
- Pre-op appointment and testing coordination
- Provide cosmetic quotes for services outside of insurance coverage
- Ensure cases are authorized by insurance
- Pre Cert team will handle, but must be able to assist - Update provider and patient on denials or appeals from insurance
- High School diploma
- 2+ years in a scheduling role
- Epic experience, required
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience with Outlook
- Ability to multi task
- Knowledge of inpatient codes/admission experience is a plus
- Experience with in office procedure scheduling is a plus
