Nuvem Rx Pharmacy Management Team is seeking a compassionate, patient‑centric pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations by covering or providing overlap for the current pharmacy manager. This position is located within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Cincinnati, OH and offers a retail pharmacy‑type setting with a Monday‑through‑Friday potential schedule.
Primary Responsibilities- Provide support and education to patients on their medications.
- Oversee the pharmacy relationship with the health center client, engaging with clinic providers and their clinical staff.
- Act as a member of the patient care team and attend clinical meetings.
- Ensure the highest standard of patient quality care, including advising on prescriptions and supporting chronic and specialty conditions.
- Lead and direct pharmacy staff to achieve specific goals and foster a culture of caring, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Manage pharmacy staff pharmacists and technicians, providing education and training to close knowledge gaps.
- Oversee pharmacy operations, including:
- Patient safety
- Pharmacy professional practice
- Regulatory requirements
- Quality assurance
- Customer service
- Personnel management
- Inventory management
- Financial profitability
- Loss prevention
- Workflow management
- Maintain current knowledge of HIPAA and fraud, waste, and abuse credentialing.
- Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Ensure pharmacy and employees comply with local facilities policies.
- Required licensing/credentialing/certification as established by federal and state regulations in the state where you practice.
- Bachelor of Science or Pharm
D in Pharmacy from an accredited university.
- Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting; 340b knowledge is a bonus but not required.
- At least 3 years of related pharmacy experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional patient service skills.
- Standing for long periods of time.
- Fine motor skills—repetitive hand motions via keyboard or phone.
- Ability to hear, write, and speak effectively.
- Various:
May include MTW 8:30 AM‑5:00 PM, Th 8:00 AM‑6:30 PM, F 8:00 AM‑2:00 PM. - Closed for lunch 12:30 – 1:00 PM, Monday‑Thursday.
- No major holidays, No weekends.
