Medical Collections Specialist – Part Time
Mayfield Spine Surgery Center, a leading outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing high‑quality care and a service‑oriented environment, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Collections Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in delivering exceptional patient care while ensuring smooth office operations.
Responsibilities- Ensure timely collection of patient receivables and insurance payments.
- Process payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate with patients and insurance providers regarding billing inquiries.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare collections.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent telephone and written communication skills.
Weekdays only – no holidays or weekends. Competitive salary and benefits for the right candidate.
