10:30p-7a shift, nights, 16 weekly hours, weekend rotation, part‑time.

Job SummaryThe Laboratory Department is looking for a Phlebotomist to draw high‑quality blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, and complete clerical duties efficiently. Responsibilities include order entry, result look‑up, report generation, and friendly internal/external call handling.
Essential Functions- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients and the community respectfully.
- Collect all specimens according to established procedures and ensure proper processing.
- Identify patients accurately and match the patient’s identity with the correct service to ensure patient safety.
- Enter and process data, label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as requested by test orders.
- Perform departmental‑related clerical duties such as checking inventory, stocking supplies, and answering phones as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Degree or GED.
- Phlebotomist Certification preferred but not required.
- One‑year phlebotomy experience preferred but not required.
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
- Ability to provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Engage with staff and patients professionally.
- Position may require travel to off‑site locations.
