We are currently recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist for Ohio Oaks Nursing Center, with an option for FT hours at a nearby facility.
SIGN ON BONUS 2,500 for the Full-time schedule and travel reimbursement!

• Assists in developing occupational therapy plans for individual residents in coordination and conjunction with the resident assessment (MDS).
• Review the occupational therapy requirements of each resident admitted to the facility and assist the attending physician in planning for the resident's care.
• Interview residents to determine the type of treatment and schedule therapy.
• Select rehabilitative and therapeutic activities and exercises based on residents' medical and social history.
• Plans develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and directs occupational therapy and its programs and activities.
• Develops and maintains occupational therapy standards.
• Interprets occupational therapy policies and procedures to personnel, residents, family members.
• Determines the staffing needs of the occupational therapy department necessary to meet the needs of the residents.

• Holds a current license as an Occupational Therapy in Ohio.
• 1 year experience as a Occupational Therapist specializing in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Long Term Care (LTC).
• Experience in skilled nursing home facility, hospital, or healthcare required.
