Job Description
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care and support rehabilitation goals.
- Assist the Physical Therapist with implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
- Observe and document patient progress and response to treatment
- Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and rehabilitation goals
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active or eligible Ohio Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
