Kid's Thrive Central is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and engaging Outpatient Group Facilitator to join our daytime team in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Outpatient Group Facilitator will support children and adolescents participating in outpatient behavioral health programming by facilitating structured groups and activities in a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with clinical and support staff to encourage participation, reinforce positive behaviors, and help youth develop emotional regulation, coping, communication, social, and problem-solving skills.

• Facilitate structured outpatient groups for children and adolescents.
• Create a safe, welcoming, respectful, and supportive group environment.
• Lead age-appropriate activities focused on coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, social skills, problem-solving, and positive decision-making.
• Encourage participation and meaningful engagement from group members.
• Establish and maintain appropriate professional boundaries.
• Monitor group dynamics and respond appropriately to behavioral or emotional concerns.
• Model and reinforce positive communication, cooperation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Help participants practice healthy coping and emotional-regulation strategies.
• Follow established treatment plans, program procedures, safety protocols, and organizational policies.
• Observe participant behavior and communicate relevant information to appropriate clinical team members.
• Complete required documentation accurately and within established timelines.
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, behavioral health professionals, families, and other members of the care team as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect participant privacy.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and therapeutic group environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, supervision, and professional development.
• Perform other duties as assigned by program leadership.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, families, education, social services, behavioral health, or a related population.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish positive and professional relationships with youth.
• Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional when responding to challenging behaviors or situations.

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, behavioral health, education, child development, human services, or a related field.
• Previous experience facilitating groups.
• Experience working with children or adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges.
• Experience in outpatient behavioral health, community mental health, school, residential treatment, or youth-serving programs.
• Training or experience in crisis intervention, behavioral de-escalation, or therapeutic group facilitation.
