Tri Health's Seton Center for Advanced Obstetrics is seeking a Perinatal Ultrasonographer to join our Maternal-Fetal Medicine team. In this role, you'll perform advanced obstetrical ultrasound examinations while partnering with physicians and specialists who care for women experiencing high-risk and complex pregnancies. MinimumJob Requirements
- Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Upon Hire (Required)
- RDMS
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Upon Hire (Required) - Other OB/GYN Cervical length certification within 1 Year Required
This position exists in the perinatal specialty units and works under the direction of the Maternal Fetal Medicine staff and or manager or supervisor. Must demonstrate competencies in a variety of OB procedures, performing ultrasound examinations in accordance with AIUM guidelines and protocols. The incumbent is responsible for the care of patients, accurate record keeping, care of equipment and other duties as assigned.
This position requires RDMS registry in OB and must meet the minimum continuing education requirements of the registry and AIUM as appropriate.

- Maintains all necessary certifications and demonstrates continued competence once certified.
- Acts as a resource in the perinatal units for other sonographers, students and residents. Assists in the education with the above.
