We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our night shift team in our specialized ventilator and skilled nursing unit. As a Night Shift Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional respiratory care to our residents who require ventilator and complex pulmonary support.
Position OverviewAs a Night Shift Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for:
Providing comprehensive respiratory care to residents requiring ventilator and complex pulmonary support
Collaborating with nursing staff, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure resident safety, comfort, and clinical excellence throughout the night
Managing and monitoring ventilators and respiratory equipment
Assessing residents' respiratory status and responding to changes in condition
Administering respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered
Performing trach care, suctioning, and airway management

Ensure ventilator alarms, settings, and equipment function properly
Accurately document assessments, treatments, and interventions
Collaborate closely with nursing and clinical leadership overnight
Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide oncall clinical support as needed
Active Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT) in the state of Ohio
Ventilator experience required (SNF, LTACH, hospital, or ICU preferred)
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently during overnight hours
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
