• Currently enrolled in an approved program for specific field of study in Allied Health (Required)
• Clinical training in an approved program as described above (Required)

Students of Allied Health Science programs and/or their equivalent as defined by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) are required to obtain specific education, clinical training and experience to qualify to take a certification examination. This position allows them to assist with waived and moderate complexity testing to obtain such clinical training and experience. An individual agrees to a specific route (education and training) and the time in which they will complete this route when hired.

Upon completion, they are eligible to apply for any open MT/MLT positions at Tri Health Laboratory locations as Registry‑Eligible. This position is designed to encourage employees to obtain certification and to pursue Registered Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Registered Medical Technologist (MT)/Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) positions within our laboratory.
