Vaco is hiring an experienced JDE ERP Manager with strong development experience for a full time role located in Cincinnati, OH.
We are looking for someone with previous leadership experience coupled with strong understanding of JD Edwards Enterprise One. This is a hands‑on leadership role where the manager not only oversees the team but also works directly with JDE ERP systems, including coding and technical development.
This role is a hybrid opportunity in Cincinnati, OH (45202) with employer paid parking.
JD Edwards ERP Manager – results‑oriented IT ERP Manager to manage our company's JDE Enterprise One ERP system and IT resources. Responsibilities include technical design, development, and support of orchestrations within JD Edwards, ensuring functional designs are stable, reliable, and scalable. The role will verify production applications operate at optimal levels and address issues quickly and accurately.
Responsibilities- Lead management and configuration of JD Edwards Enterprise One, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Oversee ERP system upgrades, enhancements, and patches, coordinating internal teams and external vendors.
- Collaborate with finance and other departments to understand requirements and develop solutions within JD Edwards.
- Troubleshoot system issues, manage escalations, and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the ERP system.
- Manage and mentor the ERP support team (internal and external), providing coaching to help them achieve goals.
- Coordinate with third‑party consultants for specialized support and system optimization.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies to keep the ERP system cutting‑edge.
- Minimum 5 years of IT leadership role.
- Minimum 10 years of experience supporting and developing financial ERP systems, preferably with JDE/E1.
- Strong understanding of ERP modules, with focus on finance and accounting.
- Leadership and project management experience in ERP environments.
- Experience managing a portfolio of projects or a complex program with internal and external contractors.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and work cross‑functionally.
- Excellent technical knowledge and deep understanding of JD Edwards files and relationships for data integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
