Oracle ERP Developer II – BDO USA
OverviewThe ERP Developer II is responsible for making development modifications to BDO’s Oracle Cloud ERP system. In this role, the developer analyzes internal user needs to accurately design, construct, and maintain the Oracle Cloud ERP system so that it meets the specific requirements of each user.
Responsibilities- Administers the day‑to‑day functions of the Oracle Cloud ERP system.
- Designs new and modifies existing modules/components based on requirements.
- Provides Level IV support for Oracle Cloud ERP system issues and questions.
- Facilitates meetings to discuss project requirements.
- Coaches Application Support team members on best practices for development and coding decisions.
- Devises strategic solutions to resolve issues while keeping the system operational.
- Partners with the Applications Services team and other resources (HR, Finance, etc.) to resolve issues.
- Consults with other team members to analyze diverse issues.
- Manages multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Escalates critical issues to management and implements appropriate strategies.
- Provides accurate estimates related to project workload and deadlines.
- Participates in weekly support meetings and design meetings as required.
- Serves as the secondary support person for after‑hours support, as needed.
- Other duties as required.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent – required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems – preferred.
- Five (5) or more years of experience enhancing and supporting Oracle Cloud ERP or similar ERP modules – required.
- One (1) or more years of experience supporting cloud‑based (SaaS) ERP applications – required.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, VBCS, and FBDI – preferred.
- Experience with integration technologies using REST and SOAP – preferred.
- Basic certification in OCI, AWS, or Azure – preferred.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer‑relationship skills.
- Ability to work in a deadline‑driven environment while handling multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong decision‑making and judgment in planning and goal accomplishment.
- Expertise in database optimization (hint, statistics, etc.) – preferred.
- Ability to produce clean code and adhere to documentation standards.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM business processes and underlying tables – preferred.

NYC/Long Island/Westchester: $90,000 – $120,000
