Requirements Must have:
- Ability to work from our headquarters located in Cincinnati, Ohio. We offer a relocation package.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or a minimum of 7 years of Service Now experience.
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) is mandatory; certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or CIS‑CSM (ITSM, CMDB, Discovery) are strongly preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience with the Service Now platform, including 3 years in a leadership or architect position.
- Demonstrated success in designing scalable Service Now solutions across various business functions.
- Advanced understanding of Service Now architecture, best practices, and system design.
- Proficient in Flow Designer, Integration Hub, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong documentation and governance skills related to systems.
Responsibilities:
- I will lead the architecture, design, and implementation across various Service Now modules such as ITSM, CSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, and Service Catalog.
- I will take ownership of the Service Now platform roadmap to ensure enterprise scalability and alignment with business objectives.
- I will develop workflow automation and collaborate with business stakeholders to provide productivity solutions.
- I will establish and enforce platform standards, naming conventions, and development guidelines.
- I will mentor developers, administrators, and analysts.
- I will convert business requirements into solutions that span the entire platform.
- I will serve as an escalation point for complex technical challenges and integrations.
- I will oversee platform governance, code reviews, upgrade planning, and maintain documentation.
- I will enhance the CMDB and Service Mapping strategy to facilitate better automation and impact analysis.
- I will ensure that the integration architecture aligns with enterprise infrastructure, including APIs, MID Servers, and third-party systems.
- I will lead proof‑of‑concept projects for new Service Now capabilities.
- I will maintain architecture documentation and reusable technical patterns.
- I will support release management, testing, and performance tuning.
- I will engage with Service Now support and the community to troubleshoot issues and keep ahead of product changes.
