Desktop Support Specialist

Encore Talent Solutions is currently seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for a position located ONSITE in Cincinnati, OH. This position is estimated to be a 6 month contract position.

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Specialist to provide end-user support across our organization. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to deliver white-glove service to ensure an exceptional user experience.

• Provide technical support for Windows 10/11 and Mac iOS systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Support and administer Microsoft Teams, including collaboration features, troubleshooting, and user onboarding.
• Deliver O365 support (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Drive, SharePoint) and resolve issues related to email, productivity, and collaboration tools.
• Provide timely and efficient email support, ensuring seamless communication across platforms.
• Utilize Service Now to track, manage, and resolve incidents, service requests, and escalate issues as required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and recurring issues to improve efficiency.

• Proven experience in desktop support or IT helpdesk roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Mac iOS environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Teams and Office 365 suite.
• Familiarity with Service Now or similar ITSM platforms.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on delivering high‑quality, user‑friendly support.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
