Our client is expanding their technological footprint and is looking to bring on a key executive as their newly appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
The ideal candidate will have prior financial services industry experience. Candidate must be local to the Cincinnati area. (This is not a remote opportunity)
About the RoleVaco is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to define and deliver the overall technology strategy for our client. This executive leader will drive digital transformation, ensure scalable and secure platforms, and enable data‑driven decision‑making across the business. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CTO will oversee cloud infrastructure, enterprise data, cybersecurity, and systems reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a long-term technology roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Lead technology teams and manage budgets to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
- Oversee data strategy, governance, and analytics, including AI/ML adoption.
- Ensure reliable, high‑performing, and secure infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Drive Dev Ops practices and operational efficiency across systems.
- Partner with leadership to leverage technology for competitive advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of technology leadership, ideally in investment/financial services.
- 10+ years of executive‑level experience with at least 5 in senior leadership.
- Expertise in cloud, distributed systems, and enterprise architecture.
- Strong background in data platforms, governance, and cybersecurity.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and align technology with business outcomes.
- Experience with M&A technology integration a plus.
