Reporting to the Director of Automation and Digital, the OT/IT/IS Department Manager leads the department in delivering high‑quality IT and OT solutions, mentoring staff, and ensuring the alignment of resources with project goals.

• Provide leadership and clear communication to team members and clients.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Best Practice Leads for optimal resource allocation.
• Review and evaluate resource needs for projects; present forecasts and budget updates.
• Ensure training, support, and performance management for staff.
• Develop and maintain technical quality plans and deliverables.

• Evaluate departmental forecast and recommend additional resources.
• Screen resumes and conduct new‑team orientation.
• Set SMART goals and career plans with direct reports.
• Provide performance feedback, recognition, and succession planning.

• Create and approve SGAs (Scope/Deliverable/Assumptions) and estimates.
• Assign personnel and monitor project budgets, schedules, and scopes.
• Coordinate forecasting and communicate potential issues to stakeholders.
• Ensure technical quality and develop QA plans with Best Practice Lead.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in IT/OT system design, server and network architecture, and industrial automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Rockwell Automation products, virtualization, SQL, Python, C#, .NET, and Azure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.

• Experience with ASP.NET, Web API, Angular, and Deltek Vantagepoint.

• Seated work at a desk; light lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Extended computer use and occasional phone or in‑person communication.

• Position based in Cincinnati, OH with hybrid remote option after onboarding.
• Travel up to 30% of the time.
