Akkodis is seeking a Senior Engineer for a Contract with a client in Cincinnati, OH
. You will design and optimize secure, high‑performing data solutions by developing pipelines, notebooks, and dashboards that meet business requirements.

Rate Range: $62/hour to $66/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design and develop data pipelines and notebooks using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and PySpark to meet business requirements.
• Monitor and optimize ADF and Synapse pipelines, ensuring performance tuning and retriggering as needed based on application functionality.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Implement security and authorization frameworks within data modules to ensure compliance and data integrity.
• Debug and enhance existing notebooks, analyze defects, and propose effective solutions for bug fixes and minor enhancements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an agile environment, providing quick, efficient solutions aligned with organizational guidelines.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (master’s preferred).
• 6–8 years of hands‑on experience as an Azure Analytics Developer.
• Advanced expertise in Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, and Azure Data Lake.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, Spark
  
  SQL, with proven ability to design and optimize data pipelines and implement security frameworks.

$62.00 to $66.00 per hour
