Supports the strategy, goals, and objectives of altafiber Security (Cyber and Physical Security) organization. May perform multiple, self‑guided technical and functional tasks. Altafiber Security develops policies, standards, and guidelines and provides services to mitigate cyber and physical risks to altafiber information, IT systems, electronic products, facilities, and physical assets. Altafiber Security works with the business to assess risk and to ensure that appropriate security measures are implemented.

Altafiber Security also enables business opportunities by leveraging security capabilities.

• Security Management - Establish, facilitate, or operate cyber and physical security processes to protect the organization’s facilities, assets, information, and services.
• Financials - Track and measure costs to ensure appropriate investment and efficient and effective solutions to drive business value.
• Risk Management - Identify and mitigate potential cyber and physical security risks.
• Compliance Management - Assess and facilitate compliance of the organization with external regulatory requirements that relate to security. Active participation with external consortia and agencies.
• Project Management - Plan, oversee, and lead projects from start to completion. Requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, managing several moving parts simultaneously.
• Security Implementation and Operations - Operationalize documented solutions and deliver day‑to‑day security operations and support.
• Participate in departmental meetings, projects, and activities as needed.
• Alfatiber facilities are protected with a set of baseline security controls, reviewed annually.

Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.

• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to multi‑task and prioritize assignments accordingly.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
