Role: Platform Engineer.

Duration: Initial Term:
One-Year (Contract-To-Hire)
Start Date: October 27, 2025.
Eligibility: US Citizen.
Experience: At Least Ten Years.
Hours Per Week: 40 Hours.
We’re looking for a skilled Platform Engineer to help design, implement, and support enterprise‑scale data integration and governance solutions. This role will focus on connecting complex systems, enabling reliable data flow, and establishing the foundation for advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
You’ll work across multiple programs to build and maintain pipelines, manage platform infrastructure, and ensure secure, governed data access across cloud and on‑prem environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable data integration workflows using tools like Fivetran, Talend, or similar.
- Build and maintain Change Data Capture (CDC) pipelines for near real‑time data synchronization.
- Manage governance frameworks — including workspace setup, access controls, and catalog integrations.
- Configure and support data platforms (e.g., Databricks, AWS) for both batch and streaming workflows.
- Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance and platform resource usage.
- Implement solutions for data quality, metadata management, and system alerts.
- Collaborate with data, security, and technology teams to align with governance and compliance standards.
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise‑scale data integration and platform engineering.
- Hands‑on experience with integration platforms such as Fivetran, HVR, Talend, or Informatica.
- Strong background in CDC technologies and real‑time data replication.
- Proficiency with SQL, Python, and scripting for automation and data transformation.
- Experience managing modern data platforms (Databricks, Redshift, or similar) and cloud services (AWS preferred).
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks, metadata tools, and Infrastructure as Code (Cloud Formation, Terraform).
- Understanding of enterprise security practices — encryption, access control, and compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Self‑starter who thrives in dynamic, fast‑moving environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non‑technical teams.
- Practical, problem‑solving mindset with focus on delivering scalable, reliable solutions.
