Data Analyst & BI Solutions Lead - Cincinnati, OH

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst & BI Solutions Lead to join our Data & Analytics practice team. This role will be pivotal in designing and building a new enterprise data platform using Microsoft Fabric, while collaborating closely with customers and development teams. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in data engineering, business intelligence, and analytics, combined with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Lead the design and implementation of a modern data platform leveraging Microsoft Fabric.
• Define architecture, data models, and integration strategies for scalable and secure solutions.
• Work directly with customers to gather requirements, understand business processes, and translate them into technical specifications.
• Act as a trusted advisor for data‑driven decision‑making and BI strategy.
• Guide development teams on best practices for data engineering, BI, and analytics, ensuring adherence to governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Design and deliver dashboards, reports, and self‑service analytics solutions using Power BI and related tools.
• Drive data quality, performance optimization, and usability improvements.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging trends in data platforms and analytics.

• Proven experience in data platform architecture and development, preferably with Microsoft Fabric or similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge of data engineering using PySpark, Fabric Pipelines, Power BI, T‑SQL, and data modeling techniques.
• Experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.

• Experience and certifications with Azure/Fabric Data Services (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks).
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and modern data integration patterns.
• Background in consulting or customer‑facing roles.
• 3‑5 years of experience in Microsoft Azure or Fabric platform solutions and projects.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics using data science, AI/ML models, LLM, GenAI areas will be a plus.

Location:

Cincinnati, OH

Salary range: $65,000–$70,000 (based on experience and qualifications).
