On-Site Language Interpreter - Cincinnati

Overview

Be among the first applicants for interpreting services with Lango. Lango is looking for fluent bilinguals to provide interpreting services as independent contractors in the Cincinnati area. You can make an impact by helping students in schools, patients in hospitals, and clients across a variety of settings.

Professional language services help multicultural communities access the services they deserve.

• Provide interpreting services as an independent contractor in diverse settings (medical, educational, social, legal, etc.).
• Attend in-person appointments in Cincinnati as needed; occasional remote opportunities may be available.

• Must be fluently bilingual in English and at least one other language
• If you do not have proof of professional interpreter training, you will be required to pass a language test in English and your target language
• Must have valid U.S. work authorization (I-9)
• Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
• Willing and able to provide a background check and drug test
• Willing and able to provide MMR, Varicella, Covid, TB test, and Flu vaccination records if interested in medical interpreting
• Willing and able to primarily attend in-person appointments in Cincinnati
• Professional training/experience preferred, but not required
