Dinsmore is seeking a highly skilled and organized Immigration Paralegal at our Cincinnati, OH location to support our attorneys and corporate clients with business immigration matters. This role focuses on employment‑based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions and requires a deep understanding of U.S. business immigration laws, policies, and processes. The ideal candidate will be able to manage a high volume of cases with precision and professionalism.
Responsibilities- Prepare and file employment‑based immigration petitions and applications
- Assist in drafting and reviewing support letters, forms, and related documentation
- Coordinate and communicate with corporate clients and foreign nationals regarding case status, required documents, and timelines
- Conduct research on immigration regulations and case strategy
- Maintain accurate case records and use case management software
- Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up on case progress
- Respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and audit requests under attorney supervision
- Prepare case summaries and status reports for clients
- Support attorneys during client consultations and compliance assessments
- Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of corporate/business immigration experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
- In‑depth knowledge of USCIS, DOL, and DOS processes and procedures
- Familiarity with immigration case management software
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills; ability to handle high volume efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional demeanor and commitment to client service
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment
