Litigation Associate – Temp to Hire

. The position is temporary‑to‑hire.

The firm offers a full spectrum of IP services across patent, trademark and trade dress, copyright and advertising law, trade secret management and enforcement, and licensing.

• Draft and review legal motions, pleadings, and briefs for IP disputes.
• Handle discovery requests, including drafting and responding to document requests, interrogatories, and depositions.
• Assist with trademark oppositions, cancellations, and related proceedings before the USPTO and other forums.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memos on non‑patent intellectual property issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation and case review as needed.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• 2–4 years of general litigation experience.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Ability to handle multiple matters efficiently and independently.
• Competent in legal research and document management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be licensed in Ohio.
