Litigation Associate

Overview

The Litigation Associate will support an intellectual property litigation practice by managing a wide range of legal responsibilities related to IP disputes. While a technical background is not required, the ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in general litigation, excellent legal skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex matters with minimal supervision.

• Drafting, reviewing, and revising motions, pleadings, and briefs in intellectual property matters
• Managing discovery, including preparing and responding to document requests, interrogatories, and deposition-related materials
• Assisting with trademark oppositions, cancellations, and related proceedings before the USPTO and other adjudicative bodies
• Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda on non-patent intellectual property issues
• Communicating effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Supporting trial preparation, case analysis, and litigation strategy as needed

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• 2-4 years of experience in general litigation
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and work independently
• Proficiency in legal research tools and document management systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
