Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing legal team. This role will involve representing clients in personal injury cases, from initial consultations through trial, to achieve the best possible outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing pre-suit operations, personal injury litigation, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to provide high-quality legal representation.

This position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s growth and enhancing our reputation as we expand our geographical reach.

The salary range for this position, depending on experience, is a base annually salary of $110,000+, plus bonus incentives and benefits. This position will require in-person presence in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in personal injury matters, including auto accidents, premises liability, and more.
  • Oversee the day-to-day handling of personal injury cases, including pre-suit processes.
  • Oversee the legal process from initiation, discovery, and pre-trial motions to trial and post-trial activities.
  • Draft and file litigation documents such as pleadings, discovery requests/responses, demands, motions, and legal memoranda.
  • Guide clients through every step of the case process, ensuring clarity and understanding.
  • Engage with expert witnesses for consultations, report drafting, and the preparation of affidavits.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances, representing clients in all stages of litigation.
  • Negotiate favorable settlements for clients while managing and balancing risks and outcomes, maintaining a trial-ready posture for every case.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the Ohio Bar. Kentucky Bar in addition is a plus.
  • 5+ years of personal injury experience.
  • Proven ability to manage a large volume of cases leading to favorable outcomes.
Skills
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with a client-first approach.
  • Superior writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Familiarity with case management software and legal research tools.
